Preferred Mailing is will not working properly

The preferred mailing may not be working because the preferences is set to startup ACT in the Contact List or Dashboard. When this occurs, ACT cannot load the Act4Advisors plugin fully because the buttons are part of the plugin and the Contact Detail interface.

Act4Advisors Age Calculation or Update Question

Do not user .pad file to open ACT!. Please use the ACT! by Sage shortcut.Open ACT! by Sage and cancel the login. Go to File, Open Database, and locate your database i.e. Advisor35.pad. Once you have located the database and logged in, ACT! by Sage will set your database as a default.

Closing errors upon closing ACT! by Sage.

Instructions:

1. Start by backing up your database. File> Backup > Database

2. After backing up, close ACT!

3. Go to your Control Panel and uninstall Scan&Organize for ACT!

4. Act4Advisors Plugin Update:

Download and Run:

Need to reinstall Act4Advisors 3.0

Question:
I just got a new computer and installed act on it, however when I try to open my Act Database, it is missing the Act4Advisors add-on. Where can I download it from and can I get my software key re-issued?

Answer:
Act4Advisors 3.0 Workstation Installation compatible with ACT! by Sage 2007 (9.0), 2008 (10.0), 2009 (11.0)
Step 1. Close ACT. Download and Run: http://software4advisors.com/download/A4A3wsSetup.exe

Step 2. Open/Run. It will say, "It requires a security key.." Press "OK"


Step 3. Click here to email with your hardware fingerprint located right above where it is prompting you to enter in name and key.


We will generate a name/key provided by the hardware fingerprint. When you receive name and key repeat steps 1 and 2.

Note:
This installation will only install registry and program files. It will not install a new database. You must restore your database from backup first before installing this file.
